Dallas Heritage Village is a great destination for learning and experiencing life in early Dallas
To help create a rewarding experience, Dallas Heritage Village limits the number of students booked each day. We are closed on Mondays and the months of January and August. Remember, most classes book for May or November, but there is plenty of history to experience all year! Please note that some days are set aside for special programs. See Special Programs before booking your group.
We recommend 3-4 hours to fully experience the Village. Our ticket office staff will begin checking in groups at 10:00 a.m. The grade-specific, self-guided “History Hunts” allow you to tour at your own pace, so you are welcome to come at the most convenient time for your class. You are encouraged to visit all of our buildings and to interact with our history educators and volunteers. We also have a beautiful garden where your students can eat their sack lunches and play.
Booking early will help ensure you get your preferred date(s).

Payments and Cancellations
Payment is due prior to field trip date. For a full refund, reservations must be cancelled two weeks before your visit. Cancellations within the two weeks may either reschedule or receive credit towards a future visit. Dallas Heritage Village operates rain or shine and reserves the right to cancel any reservation. Additional restrictions apply to our guided tour program.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due within 10 days of booking. Payment is due two weeks prior to the guided tour. Cancellation requests must be made at least one month prior to the visit.
